A group of local teens who were previously considered suspects in the case of missing 9 year old Taylor McHale were released from custody last Thursday.

The group of four teenagers was brought into custody on August 5th after being treated at the nearby Fairview Medical Center for injuries sustained while "cutting curfew".
The teens were the last to see Taylor before the disappearnce on August 3rd and were presumed to have been with Taylor in the hours before the child went missing.
Police have released little information about the teenagers, but a source did confirm that one of the group was related to Taylor. Speculation that Taylor could have followed the group or been taken out by them on Curfew Day has been spreading through the community, though no one has confirmed nor denied the information.

"We've all been through so much already," Sarah McHale, Taylor's mother, said in an interview. "Please, if anyone has any real information, something that's real, please come forward. I just want to know what happened to my baby."

Police had also thought that the body discovered on August 27th could have been connected, though this has been ruled out as the cause of death was declared a hunting accident.

The search for young Taylor McHale seems bleak with no current leads, and local police are asking the public to come forward with any information or leads they may have.
If you have any information on the disappearance, please contact the Pottstown Police Department.
